Our experience is based on our work as a responsible trade fair forwarding agent who, over decades, has moved machine tools, precision tools, components for manufacturing and process automation, products for model, tool and mould making, measuring technology, production systems and entire machining centres at the METAV in Düsseldorf. “Moved” means unloaded, loaded, set-up and dismantling.

Our experts know their way around and are aware of the special requirements. Whether we deal with single-purpose machines or universal machines, standard, precision or ultra-precision machines, we always know about the respective special requirements. Conception for the respective manufacturing process, the number of axes, position of the main spindle, constructive design, kinematics, all this plays a role for us when we move this technology.

We use this to develop our plans for using suitable lifting equipment, such as forklift trucks and cranes including any and all necessary capacities. We are aware that the centre of gravity of the machines is not always necessarily where you think it is. The anchor points are also not chosen based on  a gut feeling. When using auxiliary conveyors, we handle the use of shafts, belts and crossbeams on a routine basis. We use modern trolleys to reach hard-to-reach set-up areas on the exhibition stand.

We are also extremely reliable when it comes to transport to the exhibition site and removal after the end of the exhibition, optimising traffic routes and transit times. Even if a body-in-white machine was received late, and the exhibition machine developed from it was completed after all the deadlines had passed, we can still come up with a workable solution.

As an internationally active trade fair forwarding agent, we feel at home in Düsseldorf, Germany, Europe and overseas. We complement our expertise in trade fair handling and transport with the modalities of customs clearance in the respective country of destination.
